Find the in-game information
Read the paytable and information screen of the version actually offered to the account. Record the provider, version and stated return to player. If a current verified value is missing, leave it unknown rather than copying a figure from another site.
RTP is not a session promise
An illustrative 96% RTP describes a long-run theoretical ratio of prizes to stakes under the stated game conditions. It does not promise that depositing 100 returns 96, or that losses will be recovered after a certain number of spins.
Turnover is not a deposit
A balance may be staked repeatedly. One thousand in total stakes can be generated from a smaller initial deposit, and the risk accumulates across that turnover. Bonuses can further restrict contribution, bet size and eligible games.
Volatility and feature labels
Two games can advertise similar RTP while producing very different distributions of small and large prizes. A feature-buy price is an additional stake, not a free shortcut. Assess the exact feature rules rather than assuming the base-game behaviour applies.
The game name is only the first identifier
A comparison should retain the provider, game title, displayed version, stake range and any return figure in that game’s information panel. Do not assume that a provider-wide average or a similarly named title establishes the configuration being offered in an account.
Cumulative stakes are also different from a deposit. Reusing returns can produce total stakes greater than the starting balance. An assumed 96% RTP applied to 1,000 cumulative units staked has a theoretical average loss of 40, but gives no promise about an individual balance, session length or withdrawal.
